Liam turned 1!

I can't believe it, but my baby boy turned a year old today. Looking back this year seemed to have flown by. It is amazing how much children learn in their first year of life. They go from being this teeny tiny thing that sleeps all day to learning to hold their head up, learning to sit up, learning to pick up things, learning to crawl and eventually walk. It is amazing. I look back on this past year and I am so amazed at how far my little boy has come. There are days where he is driving me crazy, opening drawers, pulling out pans, pulling things off tables - just out of control.. and then I look at him at nighttime when he is fast asleep and I am so amazed and blessed that I have such a wonderful little boy.
We didn't have a party for Liam today, that is next week :) But we did get him a few presents. I'm sure he is way to young to realize that it was even his birthday, but we could not let the day go by without some sort of acknowledgement. We also took him out to friendly's. He gobbled up all of his hot fudge sundae - Big brother would have been very jealous shh!!! It was a very busy day for mom and dad as well. We ran around to a bunch of stores and it was just tiring. We finished up our day with giving Liam his very own cake. We were looking forward to him digging in to it and really making a mess. To our dismay, he kept it pretty clean. He ate a few pieces of the top and then he was done. That's my boy!!!! It was then off to a tubby and bottle time. Liam went of to sleep with no problem and now it is my turn. Goodnight all :)
