I'm getting to old for this!

O.k. so on Saturday night Eric and I went out. We met up at our friend Christy's house and there were a few others there. We were planning on going to this "dive bar" called 58. We all herded into our cars and were on our way. Needlesstosay, the club was not what we expected and half the crew went one place and half went the other. It was a messed up night from the beginning! Eventually we headed over to where most of the people have decided to go. A bar called Martini's. We had or should I say I had a pretty good time. Poor Eric I feel bad cuz I drag to him to these places and he never drinks (which is great ) but I just feel as if he is not having fun , which I am sure he is not :( Well, after dancing the night away it was time to head home. We had one stop though - we had to head to dads to pick up the boys. After that we headed home and I passed right out.
I am very lucky that Eric let me sleep until 10!! I felt like crap yuck! and after every time we go out, I always say the same thing, "I'm not going out anymore!" but all someone has to do is mention that they want to go out and I am all aboard. That needs to stop. I am getting way to old to be going out till 1 or 2 in the morning, drinking all night and feeling like sh*t the next day. I am very cranky and miserable and my kids do not deserve that. Long gone are my partying days when I went out with a half shirt and a mini skirt, long gone are the days I went out Thursday, Friday AND Saturday!!! I can't even go out one night now without it kicking my butt. I can imagine if I went out three days in a row - Boy! I would be laid up for about a month recovering. I am a parent of two very special boys and they deserve a mom who can give them her all ALL of the time. So with that I say, no more going out and drinking till I pass out or puke. That is not a very good quality a mother should have. I giggle because I can hear my mother's voice in my head saying - ugh! that is so not lady like missy!!!! Love you mom RIP!
