There's a Mouse in the House!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All was quiet.  The kids were tucked snugly in their beds and daddy was fast asleep,  I had just settled in to a nice comfortable position on the sofa.  I had clicker in hand and tuned to my favorite show..Ahhhhh Relaxation! I have been waiting for you all day. **squeek..squeek..squeek,squeek** Huh? What was THAT noise?  I jolt up at the sound of the noise.  I go upstairs and peek in on the boys.  Liam, he's sound asleep. AJ, sleeping like a log. Daddy, out cold. Hmm?  I didn't want to investigate too much because deep down I didn't want to know what that noise was. I did a quick check of the downstairs and convinced myself that the noise came from outside, perhaps a passing car.  I eerily settle back in to my position on the couch. My back is just beginning to loosen up and and my heart is now beating at a regular rate.... Ahhh relaxation, where were we?..... Suddenly I hear a noise in the kitchen! I very slowly turn my head to see if I see anything..and...and...... I see it! yikes!!!!! I see the massive nose and claws, I see it grisly teeth!!!! I scream at the top of my lungs - AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
o.k. o.k.  so it's nose wasn't so massive, rather petite if I do say so.  It's claws?? Nope, he didn't have any claws, or none that I could see anyway.  And his teeth,  Nope didn't see em! So this creature wasn't so massive and terrifying as I made him out to be.  He was a very tiny mouse actually. With that being said, he or she is still a mouse and I'm sorry but there are no vacancies in my house for a mouse..ewwww......
So you can imagine I didn't get a very good night's sleep last night.  I kept visioning the mouse wandering around my house like he owned the place.  And who knows, he may have other mouse friends that he invited over to his new place to check it out or worse to check us out! Do mice eat people? Nah, I don't think so, but in my very worst nightmares they do and I don't want to take my chances.
The very next day I made plenty of noise coming down the stairs.  I wanted this mouse to know I was up and I meant business.  I quickly ran across the floor and made Liams bottle and then jumped onto the couch, with legs curled under me, and fed Liam.  For the rest of the morning I made sure I made plenty of noise so this mouse knew not to mess with me!  Well, that and I made sure I was out of the house almost the entire day.  I came home when I knew it was safe - When Eric was home.  Eric had purchased some mouse traps from the store and we, or rather he, placed them conspicuously around the house.  Now we just have to wait and see.. Wish me luck!  And I'll be sure to  let all of you know when the capture has occurred.
